This article was very interesting. I think it supports a lot of my views on sex and sexuality. It also proves how the white man corruption of the morals during early settlement still exist heavily today. In a society where it was deemed totally acceptable and in a great deal of cases even higly respected and revered to be a Berdache, the europeans imposed there views which still stand strong today.
Eventhough thef term "Berdache" has been replaced with lesbian or homosexual among other words it is to this day concidered to be morally wrong to assume these roles in every social society today. Just as they were thrown to the dogs by De Baboa back then,they are still being thrown to the dogs today.The only difference is today those "Dogs" are the court of public opinion.
