I look forward to reading all of your thoughts and ideas this quarter as we work through many of the observations and concepts expressed in Applying Anthropology articles. I anticipate that this will be an energetic forum.
I know I do not have to tell you all to remain respectful and diplomatic as you write your own ideas and as you respond to other students. (I have come to realize that if I listen in a spirit of nonjudgment to other people, they are more likely to want to listen to me. For me, this sometimes requires purposeful practice but is almost always very rewarding.)
