Tricking and Tripping

I expected more from this article. Sterk started out strong, and her research was great, I think I just expected a little more. I wanted to hear more of her experiences, I guess really know what she went through day in and day out. It really surprised me that she was from Amsterdam, knowing prostitution is legal in her home country, and having grown up with that making it "OK", would completely affect her research. However, on the other hand, that is how she "got in" with the rest of the prostitutes. Fieldwork sounds fun, yet monotonous. Television glorifies it, but I couldn't imagine spending hours in a crack house with sketchy tweakers.
